Bakehouse Jazz is back, with a new concert series, STAG sings The Gershwin Song Book.

Inspired by one of the world’s most popular and successful composers of the 20th century, George Gershwin, join MC Laura Varapodio as she guides us through a journey of Jazz with a hint of Broadway and Hollywood. Talented singers Cindy Doherty, Stevie Renee, Stefania Panella and Robbie Maher, will be accompanied by musos, Wade Gregory and Brian Matthews all supported by Maître D Steve Condron.

Marvel at the transformation of the Bakehouse Blackbox as it becomes a warm, intimate pop-up jazz club, delivering some soulful music that’s guaranteed to keep your winter blues away.

Cabaret seating 5 per table is available. Audiences are welcome to bring their own platters

The Bakehouse Blackbox Theatre COVID Policy

1 :- From Friday 22 April 11:59pm, in line with Victorian Government health guidelines, patrons of The Bakehouse Blackbox Theatre will no longer be required to check-in or provide their vaccination status upon entry.

2 :- Being covid safe is a shared responsibility and we ask that you and each of your group make a responsible assessment of your health before attending the Blackbox.

3 :-If you have any COVID symptoms including, fever, chills or sweats, cough or sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose and loss of sense of smell or taste, or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. you should stay home and get tested. You will be eligible for a refund up until the start time of the performance. If you need to make contact with the Box Office, this can be done by emailing info@stagtheatre.com.

4 :- Sanitize stations will be located throughout the venue.

5 :- It is strongly recommended that face masks be worn by patrons at The Bakehouse Blackbox Theatre, as physical distancing within the venue and during performances is difficult to maintain. Our staff will be wearing face masks for your protection.

6 :- Please make sure you arrive at the theatre with ample time to find your seats. Our foyer will be open earlier for performances to make sure you have time to make your way through the building safely.
