Tell me more about the Colour:

There will be various colour powder stations throughout the course with two designated lanes. The volunteers will do their best to throw the powder at the torso, however wind and other factors can cause the powder to protrude on the face. You may wish to bring your own eye protection such as sunglasses or goggles.

The colour powder used in the event is non-toxic, biodegradable and friendly consisting of 98% corn starch and 2% food colouring. It will likely washout of your clothing, however we recommend that you wear a white shirt that you don’t mind being coloured. That’s what the event is all about!

You can still participate in the event should you not wish to be sprayed with colour powder. All locations of colour stations will have room for you to take a wide berth and avoid the colour.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no Minimum Age to enter the event, however all children under the age of 7 years must be accompannied by a parent or guardian

Can I take photos or film at the event?

The St Pat's Wangaratta Colour Run is a great event to get great visuals for your memories, Insta, Facebook page or maybe you even take your photography more seriously and are wanting to prepare a portfolio. We welcome anyone to photograph or film at our event for PERSONAL use only. We DO NOT accredit anyone other than limited official media. So please, come along, enjoy the event and take shots until your colourful heart is content

Can I run with a jogging stroller and my kids?

Yes, the course is accessible for prams and strollers and even little peoples legs! BUT...There are steep sections, so please keep this in mind. There is also opportunity for littlies to turn around during the course if it gets too much for them. Please note: all children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Is the course wheel-chair friendly?

Yes, the course is accessible. There are steep sections, so please keep this in mind. We suggest an all-terrain wheelchair or to bring a friend along who will be able to help you through trickier parts of the course.

Can I bring my scooter or bike?

Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, the only wheels we allow at our events are prams and wheelchairs. Sorry!

Can I run with my dog/cat/turtle?

Sorry, no animals or fury friends are permitted at any of our event

Is water supplied?

We encourage all Color Runners to bring a bottle of water with them to keep hydrated. There will be fill up points for you to top your bottle up. We will also have a water station roughly half way along the course.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

For further information about the St Patricks Colour Run please contact 0357215795 or email stpatswangarattacolourrun@gmail.com

What is the colour made from? Does it stain?

The coloured powder we use is made from corn-starch and natural food dyes.

Will the colour stain my hair?

The coloured powder does generally wash out of your hair, however we do recommend you take precautions if you’re worried! The colour does tend to stick to lighter hair. Oiling your hair before the run will help the colour wash out. If you’re having trouble washing it after the event, bi-carb soda and anti-dandruff shampoo will help get the stubborn colour out! We do not take any responsibility for additional costs associated with the removal of colour.

Will the Colour ruin clothes or running shoes?

The colour does mostly wash out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. We suggest wearing items that you wouldn’t mind getting colourful, so leave your designer gear at home

Do you have “cleaning stations”?

We have an air blown cleaning zone after the finish line. With a good dusting off, you aren’t 100% clean, but you are totally good for the drive home!

How does the color affect the inside of cars?

Most people bring some towels for the insides of their cars, just in case. It’s like driving home from the swimming pool in your swimsuit

What's the refund policy?

All registration fees are not refundable except on provision of a medical certificate. The organisers reserve the right to cancel / postpone if the weather conditions are considered too dangerous to proceed. In the event of a cancellation all registration fees will be refunded.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is not essential, but would make the registration process on the day a little easier.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

If you are unable to attend then you may pass your entry ticket to a friend or family member as tickets are non refundable.
