The French Brasserie The team at 161 Cellars has paired two icons to bring you a tasting experience you wont forget. St Hugo wines from Barossa Valley and The French Brasserie Restaurant.

Every fine wine is created with passion and craftsmanship. The St Hugo wines are rooted in Australian wine history since 1895. Today, with more than 30 vintages of the St Hugo label, they continue to set the benchmark for excellence in Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, with every vintage released awarded gold.

At the top end of Melbourne's CBD you will find the chic contemporary atmosphere of soaring ceilings and and vast glass expanse of a Melbourne icon, The French Brasserie. Here the Chef creates everything in house, producing innovative, modern French cuisine using the finest local and seasonal produce, all prepared in a stylish yet simple manner.

Together we have curated an exclusive dinner menu by the Chef at the French Brasserie paired with 5 fine wines from the St Hugo portfolio. These include the St Hugo Collection, the Cellar Collection and the St Hugo Vetus Purum. The chief St Hugo winemaker will be joining us from the Barossa Valley to talk you through his wines in detail, and tell the St Hugo story.

On the night you will be given access to exclusive "one night only" promotions, giving you the opportunity to enjoy at home, give as gifts in the upcoming festive season, or stock the cellar with wines that will award in time.
