Multiple Dates
St Francis Catholic College 'Open Day'
Event Information
About this Event
St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park was established in 2017 and is a rapidly growing K-12 school with a student population exceeding 1060 students for 2021. In 2022, the college will offer all classes from Kinder to Year 12 classes for the first time. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school co-existing on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8) and Senior Years Learning (9-12). Enrolments are in high demand. St Francis is conveniently located near Edmondson Park railway station and the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways and is a regional Diocesan school and has a partnership with Edmund Rice Education Australia.
Each year St Francis Catholic College celebrates an 'Open Day'. This year it falls on Saturday March 6 from 10am-2pm. It is the first opportunity to pick up enrolment forms for Kindergarten 2022, Year 7 2022 & 2023 and Year 11 2022. Open Day also provides an opportunity for prospective students and parents/carers to have a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, meet staff and students, see examples of student work and demonstrations on student learning. This year in order to maintain appropriate social distancing, those wishing to tour the college will be required to book a tour time using our Eventbrite website. Tours will take approx. 45mins - 1hour and we ask that only immediate family members attend.
Those wishing to simply collect an enrolment application form can do so by visiting the school on Open Day, between 10am -2pm, no appointment necessary. Enrolment applications will also be available to download from our college website sfccdow.catholic.edu.au from 9am on Monday March 8. All enrolment forms need to be returned by 1st April. Please note that there is no advantage to returning forms early but late enrolment forms are unlikely to be considered due to demand.
Senior leaders will be available to answer questions and a number of digital resources are being created to support common enquiries. We look forward to seeing you at our Open Day!
Warm Regards
Simon Abernethy (College Principal)
