CHALLENGING NARRATIVES OF THE DRUG WAR.

Students For Sensible Drug Policy Australia are proud to announce our first national student conference will be held at the University of Melbourne this August.

For the first time on Saturday the 12th of August we will be bringing together students from around the country that are interested in progressing Australia's current drug policy framework and bringing evidence and compassion into the narratives around drug use. SSDPC17 is a weekend of workshops, panel discussions and creating the vision for SSDP Australia into the future.

Students, academics and a wide variety of distinguished guests will network and explore ways to lobby through organised and well-coordinated advocacy campaigns. We have an incredible lineup of speakers including; renowned public health expert, Dr. Alex Wodak, NSW Grassroots campaigner and policy analyst, Dr. Will Tregoning, RMIT Lecturer and AOD Researcher, Dr Kathryn Daley, and High Alert Campaign organiser, Nevena Spirovska.

With more speakers to be announced soon we hope you will join us for a great weekend. Students, get your tickets for $15, non-students for $30 and invite your crew!
