I’d Rather Wear Roses

at Telstra Perth Fashion Festival

As part of the cultural program for the 2017 Telstra Perth Fashion Festival, I’d Rather Wear Roses will be running a series of public workshops at popular venues around the city and Fremantle. Come alone or with friends, you're sure to make new friends!

What is included?

  • All the fresh flowers, wire, tape, scissors, ribbon you need to create a wonderful flower crown

  • Easy to follow instructions and all the help you want

  • A glass of bubbles or a coffee on arrival, and drinks available to purchase throughout the workshop

  • Delicious afternoon tea (yes we cater for all your dietary requirements!)

  • A fun, inspiring environment

  • A professional photographer to document the workshop and get some snaps of your wonderful creations

  • And best of all, a beautiful crown to wear that you’ve made yourself!

At Sayers Sister in Northbridge

236 Lake Street / Saturday 16 September 2017 / 3pm

This very popular and suitably quirky cafe is a wonderful, inspiring spot to hold a flower crown workshop. The talented chefs are creating a delicious assortment of arvo tea snacks included in the price and you also get a glass of prosecco or a delicious coffee on arrival. You’re welcome to also purchase drinks during the workshop and Sayers Sister is FULLY LICENSED! Yay!

At Guildhall in North Fremantle

222 Queen Victoria Street / Sunday 24 September 2017 / 1.30pm

A beautiful heritage bar and event space in the heart of North Fremantle, a lovely place to be creative. There will be tasty treats from the amazing chefs at Propeller - the very popular eatery next door, an arrival drink and of course everything you need to create a wonderful, wearable flower crown. Stay after the workshop finishes for a drink in the heritage bar as the space will be open to public from 3pm. There will be a dj spinning tunes and delicious cocktails.

Limited to 12 people per event so book early to avoid disappointment!
