Event description

Description

Step out of the rat race & really connect with the local environment. 1.5 hour gentle guided nature walks in and around Willunga where you will be invited to participate in a variety of mindfulness and sensory activities. After some of these activities, you will be invited to share your experiences.

It’s all about slowing down and for most of the time, being really quiet, so that you can experience the healing properties of the natural world.

Studies show that forest bathing participants are likely to experience decreases in heat rate, blood pressure and stress and improvements in their mood, immune system and sense of coherency.

Immediately following these is the Spring Equinox Community Feast - CHECK IT OUT

How is Forest Bathing different to other "Nature Walks"?

It is not about:

It is about doing almost exactly the opposite.
It’s about really slowing down and most of the time, being really quiet, so that you can experience the healing properties of the natural world.
