What is Sports Geek ODE?
Sports Geek One Day Educational is a full day training workshop with Sports Geek’s Sean Callanan. Sean will walk you through what social media offers your business and how you can apply what Sean teaches sports clubs for your business needs. This training is usually reserved for Sports Geek Clients or conference attendees but we have adapted the training to be applicable for any business, brand or person to leverage social media for your business outcomes. Of course we’ll show you case studies from the world of sports and discuss how we have helped sports teams develop strong connections with fans via social media. If you follow sports there’s a chance you’ve seen a post or two that we’ve helped publish.
31st March 2014 - 9am to 5:30pm
Who should attend?
- Business owners who want to understand and leverage social media
- Marketing Managers who want to get up to speed with how social can be integrated with marketing campaigns
- Marketing & Communication staff who have been told to “get us on social media”
- Social Media staff who want to increase skills and learn from great case studies
But I’m not a sports team or an athlete
That’s OK, Sean wasn’t always a Sports Geek, his 15 year IT career gave him a great understanding of business and definitely gave him the inside knowledge in understanding social media when he started Sports Geek. Over the past 5 years Sports Geek has worked with sports leagues (A-League, Big Bash), sports teams (Melbourne Storm, Collingwood, Minnesota Timberwolves) and athletes (Scott Pendlebury, Kurt Tippett) to develop a sound social media presence and strategy. This training has been adapted to give you a broad business approach for your social media strategy and how it applies for your business.
