Introductory lesson in traditional spoon carving.

During this workshop you will learn about wood and create your own unique wooden spoon using chisels, hook knives, drawknives, spoke shaves and carving knives.

Using dry, seasoned and mostly local timbers you will hand carve your very own spoon to take home and use.

No previous woodwork experience required. This workshop is also suitable for students that have done spoon carving previously.

Price includes all materials and a delicious homemade morning tea.

Please wear closed in shoes and bring your own lunch and water bottle.
