Splash Without the Trash organises Ocean & Beach cleans in the Rose Bay beach and harbour area on a monthly basis. We collaborate with Rose Bay Aquatic Hire, who provide their kayaks and paddle boards to us for use during our clean up events (weather permitting). Our volunteers are able to see first hand the amount of rubbish that accumulates in the harbour and on the beaches, particularly the smaller, more secluded harbour beaches that are not regularly cleaned.

After our Ocean & Beach clean we invite you to take part in a virtual “trashy trivia”, full of interesting facts about ocean pollution and effective waste management, with prizes for those who are able to answer the most questions correctly!

COVID-19 Safety Precautions: If you have recently come back from overseas, been in contact with someone who has been tested positive for the COVID-19 virus or you have flu like symptoms/feel unwell, please do not attend our event (even if registered), to help protect the health of others. We will require all volunteers to maintain physical distancing of 1.5m where possible, and will provide hand sanitiser, clean gloves and surface wipes for use during our beach clean event.
