About this Event
The SPHERE NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women in Primary Care invites you to attend our virtual annual meeting to hear the latest about our research in abortion, contraception, and preconception care.
This two-day event will feature SPHERE investigators, researchers and students alongside the following keynote speakers:
- The Hon Mark Coulton MP, Minister for Regional Health, Regional Communications and Local Government
- Professor Ruth Stewart, National Rural Health Commissioner
- Professor Diana Greene Foster, Director of Research, Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH), Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, University of California, San Francisco
- Professor Daniel Grossman, Director, Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH), Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, University of California, San Francisco
A panel discussion, facilitated by Gina Rushton, will also be featured and will involve key stakeholders in women's health and primary care who will discuss the topic "Accessing sexual and reproductive health services for women – what have we learned during the COVID-19 pandemic and how can we improve the delivery of services in the future?" There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session, but you may also submit a question prior to the event by emailing SPHERE-CRE@monash.edu.
Registered participants will receive an email one week before the event with details on how to join the virtual meeting and a copy of the final program. The draft program can be viewed here.
