Description
No place for the faint-hearted, with stories from the dark underbelly of early South Australia, including bushrangers, hangings and the sombre tale of the prison hulk moored off Largs Bay.
South Australia lays claim to being a convict-free state however two of the prime movers for colonization spent time in English prisons. Hear their stories and find out how to access information about other tales of the dark side of South Australian history from colonial times to present days. Discover colourful characters and enjoy a good dash of black humour as your guide shows you around the State Library.

REGISTRATION ESSENTIAL: Registration (tour booking) closes 15 minutes before commencement of the tour. Select an available date and then click on the green "register" button to book a tour. 10 places are available on each tour.
