Description

Stieg Larsson and Lisbeth Salander in Stockholm

Tragically, Stieg Larsson never lived to see the phenomenal success of his Millennium Trilogy of novels, starting with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, published in 2005. Larsson lived and worked in Stockholm for most of his adult life and he used many favourite cafes and neighbourhoods as settings for scenes in his novels. Today Lonely Planet lists the Millennium walk in Stockholm as No. 1 in its Top Ten Literary Walks in the World. Follow the paths taken by one of literature’s most unusual heroines (a grown-up Pippi Longstocking) and journalist Mikael Blomkvist in the gorgeous city of Stockholm.
