Description

A unique workshop with local artist Fleur MacDonald who will take us through the basics of lino printing on fabric in this fun workshop for beginners and those wishing to hone their skills and/or develop a souvenir for their community organisation. From creating a design and transferring it and cutting into lino blocks to produce a 1 to 2 colour tea-towel with heat settable organic water-based inks. All materials will be provided for printing onto a 100% linen tea-towel to take home. This workshop is limited to 10 participants. Pre-booking is essential reserve your place now.

Fleur MacDonald is a Kandos based artist and designer whose business Fleur and the Penguin produces handprinted and sewn soft furnishings and assorted homewares sold through her eponymous Etsy shop, her products are also featured at Artisan on Lewis, Mudgee, Creative Village, Newcastle and the Convent and Chapel Wool shop, Rylstone. Fleur has extensive experience as an exhibiting artist and arts media personality with sixtoeight.net a roving arts review blog.
