Our Southport Library Book Club is held on the second Thursday of each month.

Join fellow book lovers for a morning of great book chat and reading recommendations.

Each month we focus on a theme to help you expand your reading interests and discover new and exciting books. Our themes for this year are

• Thursday 9 January: Biographies/Autobiographies
• Thursday 13 February: Historical Fiction
• Thursday 13 March: Politics/Political figures (Cancelled due to cyclone)
• Thursday 10 April: Spy Fiction/Espionage
• Thursday 8 May: Journalists turned authors
• Thursday 12 June: Let's get cooking
• Thursday 10 July: Around the world
• Thursday 14 August: My favourite book
• Thursday 11 September: Classics
• Thursday 9 October: Books into film or TV
• Thursday 13 November: True crime
• Thursday 11 December: Award winners
