Our Southport Library Book Club is held on the second Thursday of each month.
Join fellow book lovers for a morning of great book chat and reading recommendations.
Each month we focus on a theme to help you expand your reading interests and discover new and exciting books. Our themes for this year are
- Thursday 9 January: Biographies/Autobiographies
- Thursday 13 February: Historical Fiction
- Thursday 13 March: Politics/Political figures (Cancelled due to cyclone)
- Thursday 10 April: Spy Fiction/Espionage
- Thursday 8 May: Journalists turned authors
- Thursday 12 June: Let's get cooking
- Thursday 10 July: Around the world
- Thursday 14 August: My favourite book
- Thursday 11 September: Classics
- Thursday 9 October: Books into film or TV
- Thursday 13 November: True crime
- Thursday 11 December: Award winners
