Teachers Can Code

The Teachers Can Code professional learning program is a Department of Education initiative facilitated by the Australian Computing Academy (ACA). The program will support public school teachers across WA to implement the Western Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies (WAC). The program consists of a series of 16 professional learning modules which cover all aspects of Digital Technologies, including the key concepts, coding and data skills, projects and assessment.

This module is an introduction to the WAC and outlines the key concepts and ideas required to effectively implement the new Digital Technologies curriculum, and also introduces material freely available for use in the classroom.

  • Teachers and technology leaders seeking resources to support the implementation of the curriculum
