South East SA’s Dawn Chorus:
A morning of birdsong
Wake up a little earlier & join enthusiasts and experts from BirdLife SE SA for a morning of birdsong; learn about bird calls & ID; rare locals including the Orange Bellied Parrot & have the chance to see the elusive Powerful Owl, Australia’s largest owl.
Ideal for beginners through to advanced twitchers, or those just looking to get out and explore our local area. Family Friendly.

Snow Gums Native Forest Reserve,
Sea Coast View Rd, Caroline (see map)
Cooked breakfast provided for those that register
Activities conclude around 9am, however for those that want to continue, a range of activities/outings can be done.
Please bring appropriate footwear & clothing; chair(s); binoculars; torch/head lamp
This day coincides with BirdWatch Ireland’s Annual National Dawn Chorus Day, & we hope to share choruses with our Irish counterparts
