Sourdough Baking Course

Learn to make sourdough bread with results you can replicate at home. The course includes a take home sourdough starter which can give you infinite loaves of sourdough. Also includes method, instructions and recipes. We will practice mixing, shaping and baking sourdough. The workshop includes a tasting of freshly baked sourdough. No experience with bread baking is necessary.
There will be an option to purchase equipment on the day such as rising baskets, beeswax wraps and dough scrapers to bake sourdough.
What to bring:
- A glass jar of 1 litre capacity for sourdough starter
- bread pan or basket lined with a tea towel or purchase one of our rising baskets to take your sourdough loaf home to bake
