This event will showcase new works performed by Shoalhaven Youth Orchestra and Nowra East Public School choir. Composed for Ensemble Offspring and local young musicians, Sonic Sites brings the work of leading composers together with First Nations poetry, written during Red Room’s 'Poetry in First Languages' project held at Bundanon.

North Nowra Public school poets: Lily, Year 3; Nicole, Year 6; Tayha, Year 3; Nate, Year 5 and Tahlia, Year 3 (as of 2018)

Commissioned composers: Amanda Cole, Bree van Reyk, Damian Barbeler, Tristian Coehlo and Brenda Gifford.

Sonic Sites is conducted by Alice Chance and features Ensemble Offspring members Claire Edwardes, Lamorna Nightingale and Jason Noble, students from Nowra East primary choir and the Shoalhaven Youth Orchestra.
