Introduction to songwriting and recording - Workshop
Overview
This is a 3 - week course.
Explore songwriting basics, build confidence, and collaborate creatively in our professional recording studio. Across three engaging sessions, participants will learn composition, arrangement, and recording techniques.
Spaces are FREE and limited so secure your spot now and unleash your musical potential! Meet other young people interested in creating. No previous experience required.
Ages: 13 – 24
(or currently enrolled in Year 7 and above)
Across three sessions you will:
Session 1: Spark Creativity – Learn songwriting foundations and collaborate with peers.
Session 2: Build the Beat – Explore composition, arrangement, and recording techniques.
Session 3: Record – Learn how to record, mix, and export music

About the Presenter:
Carlin is a music therapist, app developer, and the founder of Play Anything Music Therapy. He loves using music and tech to bring people together.
Carlin is all about making music accessible, and empowering people to explore their creativity.

Windale Hub has a rear car park accessible from Shade Lane. There is 1 accessible car park with a ramp leading to the building. The building also has an internal ramp.
There is a second entry to the library on Lake Street with 2-hour parking available. The library has accessible toilet, and all meeting rooms have a hearing loop.
