Description

ACTU Chief Sally McManus at Per Capita’s Reform Agenda Series

Per Capita invites you to join us at our next Reform Agenda Series event. Per Capita’s recent work has been focused on restoring the rights of working Australians. Our recent report The Future of the Fair Go: securing shared prosperity for Australian workers, used evidence-backed analysis to generate transformational ideas for securing the future of fair work.

Our audience members regularly ask us if and when we planned to have ACTU Chief Sally McManus address the series, and we have delivered! In her March address to the National Press Club, Sally McManus called for industry-level bargaining, equal rights for casuals, and better access to workplaces for unions. She issued a number of recommendations to the government for advancing stagnant workplace rights so that they apply to the modern workforce.

At this early lunchtime address, Sally will join us to talk about why we need to Change The Rules, followed by a Q&A.

Date: Friday, 27 April 2018

Time: 10:45 for 11am

Venue: Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Level 21, 380 La Trobe Street

A sandwich lunch will be provided following the address.

The Reform Agenda Series is a free series of events. We keep it free to keep it accessible to job seekers, students, the elderly, carers, and other concessions. And we couldn't do that without your support. If you are able, please consider purchasing your ticket by donation.
