About this Event

Learn the delicate art of Glass Cutting

In this half-day workshop, Anne Giacomantonio, resident facilitator and eco-artisan, will guide you through how to safely transform discarded glass bottles into a set of beautiful tumblers, vases or self-watering planters for your home.

We’ll supply all the tools and materials for the day but we encourage you to bring along empty glass bottles that you may have stockpiled at home.

PLEASE NOTE:

As this is a glass cutting workshop, we will be providing all participants with the appropriate personal protection equipment and conduct a safety briefing at the start of the day.

We ask that you please wear closed-in shoes.

What we’ll provide:

  • Tools
  • Materials
  • Light morning tea (inc. tea & coffee)

What to bring:

  • Extra glass bottles to either practice on or put aside for a final piece (e.g. standard size wine bottle) – clean and dry
