(sold out) Basic Sewing: Mending & Reinventing Your Clothes
Sat. 29 April 2017, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm AEST
Have you ever wished that you could rescue a garment by something as simple as sewing on a button, mending a dropped hem or taking in a seam, but didn't know how? Then this could be the workshop for you!
No sewing experience necessary. You'll learn all of the basics that you need to maintain your wardrobe and even some extra tips and tricks to help you to modify or reinvent your garments.
This will be a relaxed and informal workshop. So if you would like to bring along your mending, so that you can try out your new skills straightaway, please do.
*This workshop is hosted by City of Canada Bay Council as part of the Treading Lightly program.
