Event description

Description

Following the success of last year’s event, we proudly return with the second instalment of Social Work Connect: where University of Sydney social work alumni, of all ages and stages of their careers, return to campus and share their hard-earned wisdom with students and recent graduates.

THESE ARE NOT LECTURES! Think TEDx talks where you can meet the speakers after and ask questions. Who knows - they may be your supervisor, colleague or boss one day!

Our alumni presenters are a diverse bunch—from private and public; from recent graduates to senior carers to recruitment principals—we have you covered.

This year’s topics include: What happens when a long-term client dies; How to become more employable; Don't sell your values out; Working with involuntary clients: challenges and advice.

It’s a free event with food and refreshments provided.

Registrations essential as spots are limited.
