About this event

Join us for a full-day workshop where you will learn how to make your brand more visible online without adding hours of work and tasks to your to-do list. This is a great workshop aimed at Marketing Managers of local businesses & those who look after their own Marketing for their business.

This workshop will be light-hearted, hands-on and personalised to the group. The session will be capped to a very small group to allow the session to be personalised to address the group's needs. This workshop is definitely great value, as you will receive over 5 hours of knowledge, advice and actionable steps.

What are some of the things you will learn during the workshop:

Session 1 -

During this session we will discuss What the purpose of using social media is. We will also talk through the pros & cons of the major social media platforms. We will then discuss as a group about what platforms each person is currently active on and then discuss what other platforms they should maybe be on?

Session 2 -

During this session, each attendee will complete a mini audit of their social media accounts. This will help them identify some changes and improvements to make. We will then guide each attendee through completing their own SWOT analysis. We will then dive deep into analysing our social media platforms, identifying what we are doing well, what we are doing poorly and long terms goals for the social media channels and business overall. We will then discuss the importance of knowing your target audience and will discuss and complete an activity that is all about audiences. We will then play a little game and discuss the Do’s and Don’ts of Social Media Marketing.

Session 3 -

In this session we will discuss the formats and types of content. We will also help attendees discover and decide on social media goals as well as brand voice & aesthetic. We will then chat through the importance of content pillars. We will then move onto Social Media graphics, how to form your social posts, copywriting tips and then complete an activity where attendees can write a post using what they have learned about content pillars and content goals. We will then briefly chat about Insta Bios, Insta Reels and Hashtags.

Session 4 -

In this session, we will discuss the tools available that can assist you to create content, schedule content and keep track of the results of your Social Media Marketing efforts.

Session 2 (Where are you now? Where do you need to be? ) - 11:20am to 1:15pm

Lunch - 1:15pm to 1:45pm

Session 3 (All things Content) - 1:45pm to 3:15pm

Session 4 (How to use the tools in your Tool Box) - 3:15pm to 3:45pm

Wrap Up & Discussion - 3:45pm to 4:00pm

Day Concludes - 4:00pm
