Event description

Description

If you’re thinking of setting up a social enterprise, make sure you fully understand the legal requirements before you start. This seminar will provide you with an overview of social enterprises, how they operate and how to choose the best structure for you. You’ll also gain valuable knowledge on:

  • tax concessions
  • entering into contracts
  • protecting intellectual property rights
  • best practice for dealing with employees and/or volunteers

This session will be split over two days: Tuesday 3 October and Thursday 5 October. We recommend you attend both Part 1 and Part 2 to gain a full understanding of the topic.

Supported by the City of Canterbury Bankstown and funded by the NSW Government through the Stronger Communities Fund.
