Social communication is a core area of development in early childhood and can present differently for autistic children. In early learning environments, educators play a vital role in creating meaningful, supportive opportunities for children to connect, communicate, and engage with others in ways that feel safe and achievable.


This workshop is designed to support Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) professionals to better understand social communication differences and to intentionally create inclusive opportunities within everyday routines, play and interactions.
