So You Want to Read Like a Writer

with KSP Writers-in-Residence Alumni Rashida Murphy and Melinda Tognini

Costs: $20 members, $25 non-members. Online booking fees also apply. To avoid paying fees, please phone KSP directly to book and pay by debit/ credit card: 9294 1872.

This workshop is brought to you by the KSP Writers' Centre with support from the Shire of Mundaring. Tea and coffee provided.

Writers learn to write by writing and by reading. In this workshop Melinda Tognini and Rashida Murphy reflect on the books writers read or ought to read. In preparation, each participant is asked to write a 100-word reflection on one aspect of a book they love. During the workshop we will reflect and unpack the ways in which reading like a writer makes us better writers. Come prepared to defend, debate, read and write.
