Event description

Description

Government work is collaborative in nature. But systemic gaps and organisational silos can manifest behaviours that stop teams from being able to work together to achieve the best outcomes - despite the best intentions.

In this foundational workshop, the Digital Transformation Agency's 'thinker in residence', Peter Bradd, will unpack the mindset, toolset and skillset required for smarter collaboration in government. This workshop is part of a series run over September to celebrate the launch of the DTA's new innovation space, co-Lab.

Things you will learn

  • the importance of a shared and inspiring purpose

  • signs that you are not collaborating

  • how to create a behaviours matrix

  • the 4 elements of creativity an effective collaboration techniques

  • how to influence decision-making to encourage collaborative behaviour.
