Small Practice Members Forum

The Queensland Chapter are establishing a Small Practice Forum to provide an opportunity for Directors of practices to meet and share information on topics such as architectural practice, technology and business, and personnel development. The Forum will aim to identify, review and respond to issues specifically affecting smaller architectural practices in Queensland, and develop a collegiate network of peer learning. We have the Small Practice Forum creative director from Melbourne, Monique Woodward from WOWOWA traveling to Brisbane for the launch of the first forum.
The Small Practice Forum is intended for Directors only to ensure confidentiality and openness of discussion, and is available for members of the Institute who are Directors of practices of up to 8 staff.
We will be launching the first forum on the 25th of October to be held at the Chapter office, the event will commence at 8am sharp and conclude 9.30am. Spaces are capped at 35 per session and will be on a ‘first to book’ basis. The format will include 3 short presentations and round table discussion to follow.
If you are unable to attend the first session email Jessica.Humphries@architecture.com.au to ensure you are included in the invitation to attend future Forums. The Small Practice Forum will continue to meet bi-monthly from February to November 2017.
