Description

Small Japanese Plane Making

3 days, 19-21 Feb

$580

Japanese plane

Japanese planes are famous for their ability to shave very thin shavings and have 100s of years of history behind them.

Japanese plane making and use are difficult to learn just by looking at books - they require hands on workshop experience.

Through this workshop you will make a plane as well as gain detailed knowledge about how the plane works.

The 30mm plane is very small but very useful for detailed work. You will also learn how to tune your plane to suit your particular project.
