Event description
Discuss the important marketing components that every small business owner should consider as part of their marketing plan development

About this event

Many small business owners equate marketing as driving promotional awareness of their business to the intended customers with the hope of inducing sales/purchase. Many also view marketing as a tactical activity within a part of the everyday operation of the business.

Nothing can be further than this truth. There are in fact many marketing components that businesses, small or large, will need to have a good grasp on in order to be an effective operator. There is also a distinct difference between implementing a marketing strategy versus executing a tactical marketing activity.

This workshop will discuss the important marketing components that every small business owner should consider as part of their marketing plan development. It will cover an expansive range of marketing topics such as the marketing mix, branding and other important components that will give you a clear understanding on what and how each of this can impact your business.

Keat will also explain the link between a marketing plan and a sales plan; and why this alignment is crucial to any business. Overall, participants will develop a much better understanding of the role of marketing. You’ll be able to develop the right tools to plan, manage and execute your marketing plan effectively.

This workshop will help you to provide an insight to marketing that will:

  • Deliver on the business objectives
  • Help business owners learn marketing tools available at their disposal
  • Help businesses discover the positive impact of good marketing
