Event description

Description

Contradictory to common belief, business is indeed personal. And the bravest of leaders don't shy away from the very real challenges of bringing the best of our their teams, by modelling courageous leadership in their interpersonal interactions.

Dealing with human emotions, ambitions, needs, conflicts and exchanges will determine the success of a team, and of a business. Toxic leadership practices, lead to toxic workplaces, poor employee satisfaction, disengagement and high staff turnover, low trust, a lack of innovation and compromised business outcomes. Not acknowledging that business is personal is costly.

So how do we lead our businesses in times of great uncertainty? How do we have difficult conversations with staff? How do we innovate, build trust, foster deep engagement, reset after setbacks and deal with conflicts rather than avoid them? It's unlikely that you've ever been taught to effectively deal with difficult emotions, much less have helpful language or frameworks to call on in times of challenge.

This workshop will unlock the framework, language and tools to be the brave leader your business, your staff, your clients and your loved ones need you to be. And courage is contagious - once you take a step towards choosing courage in your leadership practices, you inspire others to do the same.

Brave Business is facilitated by executive coach & business consultant, Kylie Lewis an accredited facilitator of The Daring Way and Rising Strong by social scientist Dr Brené Brown, student of Conversational Intelligence by neuroscientist Dr Judith Glaser, author of The Leap Stories and founder of Of Kin.
