Event description

Description

Our Skillet Community Kitchen Program is for everyone. That’s why it’s a skillshare!

If you’re a great cook, then come and show everyone how it’s done. If you’d like to learn some spiffy kitchen moves or would like to add a few new skills into your rotation, then come and learn!

We're calling on a whole range of people: from kitchen superstars to those who feel a little intimidated cooking and everyone in between. We're going to help show you how food can be about socialising and making friends, while also learning how to prepare new recipes in the process!

'Skillet' is a program for everyone to enjoy.

What's it all about?

The 'Skillet' Community Kitchen program offers students of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn new skills through cooking together.

We'll be running from 11:30am - 1:30pm weekly so come along and enjoy an hour long interactive cooking lesson hosted by another student, and then sit down to share in a delicious, communal lunch.

Each sit down meal is a nice chance to make new friends with fellow cooks and aspiring foodies.

Want to get involved?

Register to any and all of the events above to secure a spot at each session if you want to participate.

Each session costs $5 (plus booking fee) to secure the space.

If you wanted to host and demonstrate your own recipe simply email us at info@fairfoodchallenge.com and tell us your ideas: we would love to hear from you.

*This program is coordinated in partnership with Fair Food Challenge, City of Melbourne and Church of All Nations (CAN).
