Event description

Description

The 2017 ski trip is finally here!

It's time to hit the slopes for the department's annual day trip to the snow. Get the thermals out and get ready to enjoy the snow-tipped mountains of Thredbo.

All staff, friends and family are welcome to join the fun, so save the bother and expense and let the Social Club handle the logistics of your snow day.

Advanced skiers of all ages can carve up the slopes with an unrestricted lift pass, or for those of us still perfecting our technique (or learning how to stand up!), a beginners group lesson will be included.

All packages include return coach transport from Industry House, Kosciuszko National Park Entry and hire of boots and either skis+stocks or a snowboard.

BYO snow clothes (e.g. waterproofs) and helmet* or rent these at Thredbo.

*Helmet rental is included in the under-7s package but not the standard packages.

Standard package cost and inclusions

$165 for kids (under 17 years)

$185 for adults

Choose between:

a) Unrestricted lift pass (available for all ages)

OR

b) Beginners’ group lesson (2 hours for adults, 3 hours for kids; minimum age of 7 years) and lift pass for the easier runs (Cruiser Area and Friday Flat)

Special all-day activities package for under-7s

$250 for full-day activities for kids under 7 years old

Includes:

  • Ski equipment and helmet hire

  • Access to a special supervised play area: Thredboland

  • Lessons all day
