The Silver Rainbow LGBTI Aged Care Awareness Training Project is managed by the National LGBTI Health Alliance and is being delivered collaboratively with project partners across every state and territory in Australia. It is funded by the Department of Health until June 2020.

This essential, highly relevant training for all workers in the aged care sector helps to promote a better understanding of the needs of the LGBTI people and provide aged care sector staff with the confidence and knowledge to deliver an inclusive, best practice service.

This training will be delivered in Canberra throughout 2019 by AIDS Action Council of the ACT.

An initiative of the Australian Government for the Aged Care sector, in partnership with the National LGBTI Health Alliance.

A variety of morning or afternoon sessions are available on a monthly basis. Refreshments and morning / afternoon tea will be provided for each session.
