You must purchase one ticket for every night you plan to stay.
Please note this site is not a regular caravan park it is a country showgrounds which is administered by The Canowindra Showground Trust and is utilised as a caravan and motorhome campground during this event. People booking any powered site must bring their own 30 meter 15 amp power cord. The proceeds of these camping fees go towards improving facilities for future years as is shown in a new amenities block which was commissioned in October 2016.
Daily pilot flight briefings will take place here and announcements made as to the flying activities for the day. This will also be the meeting point for public spectators and commercial balloon flight passengers. Although this is not the main balloon festival launch site some balloons may launch from here from 6.30am daily during the event depending on wind directions on the day.
As you can see if you camp at the showgrounds you really will be right in the center of all the action.
If you wish to volunteer to help out in some way you will receive one free night for every day that you volunteer. If husband and wife volunteer then that becomes two free nights for each day of volunteering. Yes there are volunteer jobs for all levels of fitness and skills.
