Paperclip Ideas invites the friends of Hub Adelaide to show, tell, share
"Social Media: Sociable, or Anti-social?"
At a Paperclip Ideas Show Tell Share session, everyone learns, everyone teaches, and everyone takes home a bounty of shared knowledge.
How it works:
- Enjoy a 15-minute 'show and tell' on a thought-provoking topic from a guest presenter.
- Find some new friends.
- Choose a game or conversation from our menu.
- Share what you discover with the group.
- Contribute: next time, what could you show, tell, share?
Bring a piece of your favourite fruit and an open mind, and get ready for a shared feast of breakfast and ideas.
7:45am for an 8:00am start.
This session is limited to 24 places so book early!

This session's show and tell topic is presented by Meg Drechsler, Communication Strategist and the Director of Paperclip Ideas.
After an imaginative childhood spent dressing up and going door to door to raise capital for pretend charities*, Meg found herself all grown up and learning the real-life ropes of sales and marketing in the booming 90's call centre industry. Meg cut her leadership teeth at Telstra where she headed up a team responsible for the creation and deployment of telemarketing campaigns across four call centres with more than 250 operators.
By 2002 Telemarketing wasn't what it once was and Meg moved into Advertising, building a decade-long career as a client service director, media planner and strategist at Starcom. She holds an AFA Executive Certificate in Advertising Communication, and is a qualified trainer and workshop facilitator with 20 years of experience in leadership and project management.
Meg founded Paperclip Ideas in 2012 with the idea that marketing, sales, and customer service should be fun. Paperclip Ideas' playful tools, workshops and coaching are designed to help businesses connect with customers, and manage those connections for better return on investment and greater return on effort.

(*True story: the "Slugs and Snails Salvation Foundation", created age 8 with collaborator Lucy, netted $15 which we blew on a shopping bag full of mixed lollies and 8 litres of coke. We really believed we were going to build a refuge for snails-at-risk but in the end the lure of the 'dark side' was too strong and we scarfed sherbies until we were sick. Meg's ethics have since become highly developed and she is known for her integrity and honest dealings. Truly. Just ask the slugs.)
