Event description

Description

The shoulder is a complex joint and without stability and proper set up, can be a limiting factor to an efficient and pain free bench press.

This course will include:
- A review simple anatomy of the shoulder structure
- Discussion about common injuries that occur at the shoulder
- Discussion and practice of the barbell bench press (including cues / assessing technique)
- Practice of simple rehab exercises to address common technique faults

The course is practical and hands on and is ideal for personal trainers, exercise scientists / physiologist and gym go-ers who would like a better understanding of how the shoulder works in an efficient and effective bench press. All skills learnt on the day can be easily applied to your own training or clients come Monday morning.
