Description

Know a teen (12-18) who's interested in acting and/or short filmmaking and wants to learn all the latest tips and techniques?

Then send them along to our Short Film Workshops and Drop-in Sessions in Mascot.

Leading up to The SECC Short Film Festival on Friday 6th December, the workshops are designed to teach you everything you need to know about the film-making process.

* Juliana Purnell is an actor, published film critic and short film director. After becoming dux at Wesley Institute for her Bachelor of Dramatic Arts, she continued her studies overseas at the Los Angeles Film Studies Centre, where she deepened her passion for film. She has since worked for Sydney's Luna Park, become a prominent figure in educational videos for the University of Sydney and their simulation programs, and has repeatedly been a finalist for the Ignite Film Festival. She loves watching films, talking about them, reading their scripts and otherwise just being immersed in cinematic culture, and looks forward to motivating the next generation.
