Shoreline Ecology & Sandcastles (6 Jan)
Overview
Join Aurora Surf to celebrate 30 years of Summer by the Sea!
Come and explore the beach like never before! You’ll wander along the shoreline, discovering how dunes, tides, and waves shape this beautiful environment. Kids will love searching for natural treasures along the tideline before using what they’ve learned to build amazing sandcastles inspired by nature.
Our friendly facilitators will keep everyone safe with sun-smart reminders, hydration breaks, and gentle guidance on caring for the coast. It’s the perfect mix of play and discovery, where you’ll have fun, learn something new, and head home knowing how to enjoy the beach safely while protecting the living systems that make it so special.
