Event description
A two day introductory workshop to 16mm colour and BW film making (and super 8 if you insist!).

About this Event

Day 1: Shooting film

Lean about 16mm camera types, exposure and shooting technics.

Day 2: DIY processing

We will cover two main work-flows for developing your film into a positive image suitable for projection.

1. there is reversal processing where the film you shot in the camera can be made directly into a positive.

2. We will also be making positives (copy printing) from negatives with a 16mm film projector.

Also learn traditional methods for doing this, and also alternative ways of doing it using less toxic, more available ingredients.

The Highlight:

See your images projected! We’ll do a live screening of our work at the end of the workshop.
