Come join FIG Food Integrated gardens Shmita Permaculture design course to learn the life skills and to create a resiilent community in tune with Jewish Earth based life cycles of the land.

The course will have a special focus on preparing the land before the Sabatical year so that we can receive abundantly on the 7th year. Permaculture design, a design system that teaches how to build regenerative systems, will be intensively taught as a model for how to prepare the land for shmita. We will explore the principles of Shmita and Jewish farming.

A wholisitic Spiritual Urban Permaculture Design course in local Jerusalem. A unique opportunity to connect to a diverse range of subjects, giving a you the skills to create a resilient lifestyle and have an impact to create food security in amongst the community. There will also be body movement feldenkrais as well as meditation.

FIG: Food Integrated Gardens director Paz Faigenbaum born and breed in Australia has learnt with the pioneers and masters and now would love to share those skills with you!

November 7th
Permaculture Design, reading landscapes and principles.
Urban farming and wicking beds
November 8th Rooftop farming, fermentation, pickles, krauts and kombucha
November 9th Herbal Medicine, foraging, Plants propogation, greenhouse.
November 10th Biofertiliser and compost, creating living soil
Building compost toilet.

November 13th Rocket stoves and fire design
November 14th Animals : building a Chicken Pen, Goats Bees
November 15th Water Urban sensitive design, rainwater, greywater
November16th Rooftop aquaponics and fish
November 17th Social ecology and village building

Novmeber 19th Mentoring
November 20th plant propogation
November 21st Project design

Price is sliding scale:
Custom made program $1500 for 1 person
(sliding scale if more people join)
Stand alone workshops also on offer.

This apprenticeship position will open up to future projects.
