SHFPACT Council invites Members and Friends to the Annual General Meeting of Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT Incorporated (SHFPACT) to be held at Canberra Museum and Gallery.

The Council invites Friends of SHFPACT to consider renewing or upgrading their membership to primary members of the Association with full voting rights. Please contact Libby by email at emccutchan@shfpact.org.au to discuss.

Guest presenters:

Rebecca Bartlett

Rebecca will present on the award-winning social innovation platform, Shifra – a web app designed to improve access to quality sexual and reproductive health care for migrant and refugee people and communities. It provides local, evidence-based health information in multiple languages for communities with varying levels of language and health literacy. Shifra also directs users to trusted clinics where they can access respectful and safe care.

Well-known community sector leader and consultant in the Canberra community, Rebecca will present work commissioned by SHFPACT, AIDS Action Council and Hepatitis ACT with funding support from the ACT Government to undertake a needs analysis of the STI/BBV sector in the ACT.

Award of SHFPACT Life Membership

SHFPACT is very pleased to announce the award of Life Membership to Dr Kaisa Thomson, to be presented by ACT Minister for Health and Wellbeing Ms Meegan Fitzharris MLA
