This focus group will explore successful strategies teachers use when making a change from a traditional to innovative spaces.

About this Event

This focus group invites teachers to provide input to the ILETC project by sharing their successful practices in changing from traditional to more innovative spaces.

The project team will share their recent findings and ongoing work in developing resources to support teachers to maximise the potential of their classroom spaces. Teachers will participate in a design thinking activity, developed by our team members at Monash University Department of Design, which explores the journey of change from traditional to innovative spaces.

Teachers will receive a copy of the activity to take back and share with their schools and ILETC publications. Afternoon tea will be provided.

Program

3.30 pm Afternoon tea

3.45 pm An overview of the latest findings from the ILETC project.

4.00 pm Journey Map activity explores the changes teachers make when adapting to new spaces.

4.45 pm Sharing strategies and tools.

5.00 pm Finish.
