Shared Lives Shared Stories (SSSL) is a free and comprehensive two day workshop for people who have interest in becoming accredited foster carers.
It will happen on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, November 4, from 9am to 3pm.
- Attendance on both days is essential. In case you cannot attend one of the days, please mind you'll need to wait until the next session is available in your region so you can complete your training.
The SSSL is an interactive training that gives you the chance to ask all questions you might have about having a young person under your care for short of long periods of time. It focuses in the challenges, rewards, rights and duties of foster carers in NSW. The SSSL is also a great chance to learn about education, trauma and children development.
