The School of Shamanic Womancraft
Five Day Retreat

Testimonials for the Five Day Retreat

Working with Jane has been one of the most profound, deep and potent experiences of my life. Her powerful, humble, transparent and humorous approach allows the richness in each woman to shine, to uncover our own knowing, to touch the really deep layers in safety and Love. I really felt that all of me was welcome in the space, and the journey we weaved together was held with such compassion and fierce love. I have learnt so much for my practice with women and birth. It feels like my intuition has been given a framework to move within, a lens through which to view things that opens the perspective and keeps me connected to Truth and deep, feminine wisdom. Such is Jane's approach as a teacher, giving the power and the vision back to those around her, supporting them with no judgment to meet our wounds and patterns with love, understanding and respect for their role in our coming to wholeness.

Many thanks Jane.

The week I spent with my new found sisters at the Shamanic Womancraft retreat at beautiful Wildways was one of the most profound experiences of my life. I laughed, cried, and found love within a sisterhood that I had only dreamed of before. Combining Shamanic techniques, drumbeats and craft, Jane's warm and earthy character infused the deep teachings about our cycles and rhythms with light and love. Jane beautifully and powerfully held a sacred space for all of us to drop into our deepest stories and find healing, and I now carry the magic of the circle of my sisters forever deep within my heart.

With love, Fynn

One hot week in July there was created a place of in-between. Cradled in the woods and fields of Shropshire a circle of women gathered together, to learn and teach, to heal, to travel the realms. We came to find the Goddess, we came to find ourselves.

Around the world, crossing time and oceans, she came to sit in our red temple.

Jane Hardwicke Collings, Shamanic Midwife, mother, grandmother, healer, teacher – sister she became.

We numbered amongst us midwives, doulas, menstrual healers, mothers, pregnant mothers, future mothers – daughters of the Goddess all. We came together to deepen our understanding of the women’s mysteries and how we might work to heal the wounded feminine, for ourselves, for each other, for women everywhere.

Knowing as we heal ourselves, so we heal the Earth.

We began at New Moon, the Harvest Moon, the time of high summer, the time of high power and together we travelled. We created prayers and intentions, we crafted magical objects, we journeyed into our wombs, we created ceremony. We learnt how the seasons and cycles of our lives weave together, the Earth season, the lunar cycle, our life season and our menstrual cycle. We learnt about the moon under which we were born and the part it plays. We learnt to find the healing, the pearl, the treasure in our traumatic wounds.

In the summer heat we held each other in sacred space, in love, in healing. We were humbled, we were grateful.

The women who went home at the end of those five days will never be the same again.
