In 2022, Lakespeare is thrilled to partner with Kambri again for its final show of the season, presenting an exclusive performance of Shakespeare by the Lakes IV: As You Like It at the Manning Clarke Theatre with three-hours free underground parking. (Parking is directly below the theatre - enter off Kingsley St.)

This will be our most highly produced show for the season, offering a different experience to every other show we do. Indoors, you will have the opportunity to grab a drink from the bar and enjoy the show, close to the action. Meet the cast afterward and get your picture taken in front of our social media wall. Kids are welcome to this family-friendly show.

Shakespeare by the Lakes IV: As You Like It will delight audiences around the Capital Region this summer. Directed by Tony Knight, this much-loved comedy tells a story about love overcoming adversity. It features mistaken identities, bad poetry (from the characters, not the author!), wandering jesters and enchanted forests. As You Like it is pure delight and it features several original musical pieces by composer Jay Cameron. Along with the fine cast, these will transport you to the forest of Arden and uplift your spirits. Forget any bad high school memories of Shakespeare and kick the COVID blues - this will be a tremendous amount of fun with plenty of local Canberra references.

This show adds the comfort of indoor seating to all the fun of the outdoor shows.
