Description

Share an afternoon with six talented authors. Explore the different facets of romance writing, and discover a new read to love!

Enjoy two author panels at morning tea.

Sweet and Sexy – Australian authors successfully selling contemporary romances in a global market.

Kaz Delaney talks with two successful local romance authors known by readers round the world, Annie West and Michelle Douglas who are both award-winning, best-selling authors who have sold millions of books worldwide. They reveal their individual approaches to writing romance--the innate similarities as well as the differences in what they write--and discuss what it takes to be a successful author for Harlequin Mills & Boon.

Romance, drama and the outback – how Australian authors are finding their own romantic stories to tell

Karly Lane and Fiona McArthur discuss their writing and books and how their stories are distinctively Australian with Jaye Ford.

Karly Lane has written 11 women’s fiction titles, from romantic suspense to family sagas and life in rural Australia. Her latest book If Wishes Were Horses combines romance and history with a dash of suspense, and she is currently working on a new story - Third Time Lucky.

Fiona McArthur is the author of more than 30 romances, which have sold over two million copies in twelve languages. Her life on a farm in northern NSW, and work as a midwife inform her writing. Her new medical rural romance The Baby Doctor is due out in early October 2017.

Jaye Ford is the internationally published and award-winning author of five crime novels. Under her alter-ego Janette Paul, she has published two romantic comedies.

Kaz Delaney, the pseudonym of experienced author Kerri Lane, has written over 70 books under both names. Kaz Delaney penned the award-winning young adult paranormal romance Dead, Actually and the teen rural romance The Reluctant Jillaroo.
