You're invited to the opening of Shivam Pandey's exhibition -- "Shades of Life".

Raw, immersive, authentic, poignant -- these images by Kolkata-based photographer, Shivam Pandey, will transport you to India, giving you an insider's view of life unfolding in a myriad of settings: streets, villages, river ghats, factories, train tracks, wrestling halls... You'll bump shoulders with the very people Shivam encounters, folk of all ilk and circumstances, and experience their lives through his photographs.

Shivam Pandey is a Kolkata-based street and documentary photographer, whose eye for light and storytelling creates compelling images that speak of shared humanity and connection. This exhibition of his photographic prints is the first in Australia and Shivam will be joining us all the way from Kolkata via live-streaming to share with us the stories behind the selection of his work.

This exhibition opening is also a fundraiser for Shivam, who has been unable to work due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The prints in this exhibition will be available for sale: $30 for 8"x12" prints, $50 for 12"x18" prints -- with all proceeds going to Shivam to support him. It's a great way for you to purchase these stunning images for your collection, while also supporting a worthy cause. You can also assist by offering a gold coin donation at the exhibition opening.

The Opening of "Shades of Life" is at 4pm and runs until 5.30pm. Wine and refreshments will be available during the opening.
